Fleur is een outling en dat betekent dat ze krachten heeft maar haar moeder niet. wie haar vader is weet ze niet. ze gaat naar Crystal Wing Academy waar ze meer leert over magie en ook leert met haar magie om te gaan. ze maakt er vrienden maar ook vijanden. maar wie is die stem die ze steeds hoort en waarom wordt ze steeds aangetrokken tot het bos? dit boek was spannend met een aantal onverwachte wendingen. deed me soms wel aan Harry Potter denken maar dat komt omdat het een school voor magie is.

een aantal goden zijn jaren geleden gestraft en moeten nu iedere zeven jaar zeven dagen doorbrengen op aarde als stervelingen terwijl er op hun gejaagd wordt, dit noemen ze de Agon. de familie van Lore is bij de vorige agon vermoord en Lore wil niks van de Agon weten maar dan staat er een zwaar gewonde godin op de stoep en blijkt haar beste vriend nog te leven. en ze zitten achter haar aan omdat ze denken dat ze wat heeft. het is aan Lore om samen met haar beste vrienden en de godin uit te zoeken wat ze van haar willen en de zeven dagen overleven. dit boek is spannend met wendingen die voorspelbaar waren maar ook onverwacht. erg genoten van dit boek.

dit soort boeken zijn voorspelbaar maar daarom niet minder leuk. Evelyn gaat met een vriendin naar Las Vegas om haar 21ste verjaardag te vieren. ze wordt wakker naast een knappe halfnaakte man maar weet niet wat er de dag ervoor gebeurd is. de man, David, blijkt de gitarist te zijn van een bekende band. met zijn hulp probeert ze haar geheugen terug te krijgen en zoekt ze uit wat ze voor hem voelt en wat ze met haar leven wilt. je weet hoe het gaat met dit soort boeken. dit boek was erg leuk en soms erg steamy. maar ben wel benieuwd naar de volgende delen van deze serie.

Evelyn Thomas had grootse plannen voor het vieren van haar eenentwintigste verjaardag in Las Vegas. Hele grootse plannen. In die plannen stond echter niets over wakker worden op de badkamervloer van haar hotelkamer, met een apocalyptische kater, naast een woest aantrekkelijke halfnaakte man met tatoeages, met een glinsterende diamant om haar ringvinger.Kon ze zich nou maar herinneren wat ze gisteren allemaal had uitgespookt…

Fleur heeft haar plekje op school verdiend en een relatie met Donovan. maar dan blijkt dat er iemand achter de Outlings aan zit gaat ze op onderzoek uit voordat ze zelf een slachtoffer is. dit boek was weer spannend maar ook grappig. erg genoten van dit boek. zat vol met wendingen die ik niet verwacht had.
